Meet Jeff Jahn, Chief Nerd
Jeff built his first computer with his dad at nine, his first one alone at eleven, and was getting driven around Atlanta building networks for clients by fourteen. He built three State Farm call center networks before he turned fifteen, started DynamiX his sophomore year of college, and hired his first employee senior year, who is still with the company.
Jeff runs on two rules. "Hell yes or no" and "Do it right or don't do it." Those aren't motivational posters. They're why DynamiX turns down most of the work that comes in and has kept the same team for over two decades.

I'm an agency. Can we use Octane for our clients?
Yes. We partner with agencies to bring their work to life on Octane. Your team gets access to the same tools our internal team uses for project management, content, and design. If you want to own the entire client relationship without us ever speaking to your customers, you can. The Octane logo shows up in the platform, not DynamiX.
Will you try to sell my clients other services?
No. We build website software. We have never offered social media management, paid advertising, or anything else that agencies do for their customers. Octane is built to make your job easier, not to create a competitor.
What if I just want DynamiX to build the site and my agency manages it after?
Let's do it. We can handle the full build from strategy through launch, then hand the keys to your team, or you can build in Octane from the start. We see every version of this and are set up for all of them.
Is Octane built on proprietary technology?
Octane is developed using incredible open source software, including Laravel, Vue.js and similar languages. It is highly extensible, incredibly stable and the underlying architecture is fully supported by thousands of developers around the world!
What happens if I want to leave Octane?
We'll give you everything: content, structure, hierarchy, CSS, JS, HTML. We'll help you find a new home if you need it. We don't hold sites hostage. But for what it's worth, Jeff has a saying: "No one leaves DynamiX for long." Most people don't realize what they had until they're back on WordPress watching their page speed drop to 45.
How long has Octane been around?
Since 2005, under various names. It started as DCMS, became SE, and has been rebuilt from the ground up multiple times to stay on the leading edge. The current architecture is designed to improve continuously without requiring full rebuilds. That's the whole point.

What's the free website review?
We look at your site and find around a half-dozen specific things that can be improved. SEO, speed, code, branding. We share what we find and that's it. There is no cost, commitment, or follow-up you didn't ask for.
What about hosting? Do I need to host the site myself?
Nope! Our sites are hosted in an incredibly robust Amazon AWS environment, designed to be fast, secure and extremely stable. We include 50,000 visits a month with our Octane agreement, and are extremely generous with growing businesses.
